Document attainment procedures

Birth certificates. If born in NSW

Extract is not sufficient. Has number but no family details.
Full birth certificate copy is required with father's and mother's names and places of birth. Must be obtained from Birth Deaths & Marriages dept and stamped as an original copy of birth certificate.

Download the application form and fill in and send or fax signed with a cheque for the amount required and 3 forms of ID.
Phone them if you have trouble. Very helpful.

Divorce Absolute

Phone 1300 367 110 to obtain from them by search
your File number to insert in form.

Send form in with cheque for amount required
($26.00 or $54.00 etc)

Takes about a week. Very helpful people as well.
